Personal Information Provided by You. We collect information you provide when signing up, using features, or contacting us. This may include:

- Date of birth
- Step count and active minutes data (via Apple Health / Google Fit sync)
- App usage data
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive personal data such as health diagnoses or biometric identifiers. Video content created through the app (including duet recordings) may incidentally capture facial or body images. This content is processed solely to deliver the video feature and is not used for biometric identification or profiling purposes.
Device Information. We may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Device type
- OS and browser version
- Time zone and language
Usage Data. Includes app interactions, leaderboard activity, clicks, and in-app behaviour.
Location Data. Approximate location is inferred from IP address; we do not track precise location.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Sync movement data and calculate points
- Deliver leaderboard, challenge, and reward features
- Communicate updates and promotional content (if opted-in)
- Monitor app performance and detect bugs or misuse

16. UK AND EU PRIVACY RIGHTS (UK GDPR / GDPR)
SweatScore Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

17. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND VIDEO
SweatScore includes features that allow you to record, share, and download video content, including duet workouts. When you use these features, we process the following:
- Video recordings you create within the app
- Duet recordings combining your content with our instructors
- Any captions, usernames, or profile information associated with that content
How We Use Video Content
Video content is processed to deliver the recording and duet features, display content to other users within the app, and where you have consented, for promotional purposes related to SweatScore. The lawful bases for this processing are consent (you actively choose to record and share) and contractual necessity (it is a core feature of the service you signed up for).
Visibility
Content you share within the app may be visible to other SweatScore users.
Retention of Video Content
Video content is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete a video, it is removed from the app. When you delete your account, all associated video content is deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
Downloaded Content
You may download videos for personal use. Once downloaded, content is outside SweatScore’s control and responsibility. We are not liable for how downloaded content is used, shared, or distributed outside the app. You remain responsible for ensuring any use of downloaded content respects the rights and privacy of individuals featured in it.
Biometric Data
Video content may incidentally capture facial or body images. We do not use video content for biometric identification, facial recognition, or profiling. It is processed solely to deliver the video and duet features.
18. UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE
We may update this notice from time to time. The new version will be effective upon posting with a revised date.
