Culture, Rhythm, and Pure Joy
Building a Movement Around Music
My journey started with AfriFitness. I wanted to build something real, a space where women could sweat to Afrobeats and have fun doing it.
The community grew fast! People were tired of boring workouts. They wanted energy, great music, and a tribe cheering them on to hit their goals every single day.
Where Was the Athletic Workout Born in Africa?
Look across the fitness world and you see global movements with deep roots. Zumba brought Latin heat, Yoga came from India, and spin workouts blew up in the US. But where was the workout style born straight out of African culture?
I knew we needed to bring the culture, the drumbeat, and the rhythm into everyday fitness to make staying consistent effortless.
Nigeria, a Jump Rope, and a Brand New Vibe
I connected with someone who completely changed my idea of skipping. He was jumping to the beat with mind-blowing footwork, and I was hooked.
We came up with routines, shared them online, and that was the moment Ropes & Reps was born.
"When you jump to a beat you love, you stop watching the clock and start feeling the rhythm!"
Rachael Okesola, FounderTaking Ropes & Reps Global
SweatScore gives you daily routines, progress tracking, and a community where members post videos and sweat together from anywhere.
My mission is to prove your body can keep getting stronger, leaner, and more athletic! Ropes & Reps is becoming a worldwide movement, uniting people from Lagos to New York through joyful movement.
